He studied Marketing and Communications across Santiago, Buenos Aires, and Barcelona.
Max began his career in advertising as a Creative Copywriter at Y&R Santiago, where he later rose to become a Creative Director and Creative Coordinator, responsible among other things for aligning local creative work with regional and global offices in New York.
He then joined Simple, a new independent creative agency, as a Partner and Creative Director. Under his leadership, Simple quickly gained clients and earned recognition at creative and effectiveness award shows. When Max took on the role of Co-Executive Creative Director, the agency won its first Cannes Lions, becoming the second most awarded agency in Chile that year. In the following years, Simple ranked among the Top 5 Indie Agencies in Ibero-America (El Ojo de Iberoamérica Ranking), the Top 2 Most Creative Agencies in Chile (ACHAP Ranking), and earned Agency of the Year (WINA Ranking), also reaching the Top 6 Largest Agencies in Chile (ACHAP Ranking). After seven years as a partner, Max left Simple but continues collaborating with them on creative projects and pitches.
Following this, he became a Partner at Rocket, a digital marketing agency, and at Señora María, a small creative boutique. Today, Max also works as an independent consultant, offering a fresh approach to brand development, digital marketing, and digital performance for clients and startups across Chile, Latin America, and North America — focusing exclusively on a select number of projects each year.
