BIO

Hello. I’m Max König, brand strategist and creative director. I’ve been fortunate to work with a wide range of brands and teams, and to see many of those collaborations recognized in creative and effectiveness awards around the world.
I’ve also had the opportunity to participate as a jury member in festivals in New York, Cannes, Costa Rica and South Korea.
After studying marketing & communications in Santiago, Buenos Aires and Barcelona, I started my career as a copywriter at Y&R Santiago. Over time, I became creative director, working with global brands and coordinating projects with regional and global offices, including New York.
In 2011, I left Y&R to co-found Simple, an independent creative agency. As partner and creative director, I was part of a team that grew steadily and began gaining recognition at regional and international festivals.
In 2013, I took on the role of co-executive creative director at Simple. That same year we won our first two Cannes Lions, and continued building a portfolio of work for brands that earned recognition in Superbrands, Effie Awards, and other industry rankings.
Over the next few years, Simple received several acknowledgments as a creative agency both in Chile and Ibero-America, and in 2016 was named Independent Agency of the Year by WINA.
In 2017, I stepped away from the agency to focus on brand and communication consulting for clients and startups across Latin and North America. My work has been centered on integrating strategy, creativity and performance in a small number of selected projects per year.
In 2021, I rejoined Simple as a remote creative director, working on campaigns for brands such as Under Armour, Lay’s, Colun, Abastible, Empresas Copec, VTR, and Claro. Since 2025, I’ve returned to a full-time role as Executive Creative Director, leading the creative development for Colun, Volvo, Abastible, and others.
